I-9 Section 1: Other Last Names Used Field

The 2023 I-9 Section 1 now restricts the Other Last Names Used field to acceptable characters, eliminating the need for later corrections. 

Acceptable characters are:

  • Letters (both uppercase and lowercase): a-z and A-Z
  • Apostrophes: ‘ and ’
  • Hyphens: –
  • Space:
