Medical Parsing Updates
What’s new?
VMS Sync has updated our medical parsing logic for all VMS Positions that support medical parsing, adding the following:
- New Medical Type: Dispatch Operator
Keywords are used to derive Medical Type and Specialty values from VMS Position details. New keywords include:

Why does it matter?
VMS Sync categorizes Healthcare Positions by assigning them Medical Type and Specialty values to the type of work a vendor is requesting. These values are displayed on the Skill Mapping Dashboard, where you manually link them to ATS field values. This ensures that positions are correctly categorized and unmapped positions are not delivered to the ATS until you have intentionally created a link.
How do I enable this?
VMS Sync customers do not need to take any action to enable this feature.
