New Open Source Career Portal
Bullhorn’s new Open Source Career Portal is now generally available! The new Career Portal is a configurable website that gives job seekers/candidates access to your company’s published jobs. Our Career Portal is open-source, mobile-friendly, and allows users to post open jobs to your company’s website, job boards, and social media accounts. Please click here for more information, and contact Bullhorn support if you’d like to enable the new open source Career Portal.
NPS Survey Tool
Our new NPS survey tool is now in open beta! Extensive research has shown that your Net Promoter Score®, or NPS®, acts as a leading indicator of growth. If your organization’s NPS is higher than those of your competitors, you will likely outperform the market, and managing your organization to improve NPS will also improve your business performance, whether you are aiming for faster growth or increased profits.
Available to Corporate and Enterprise edition customers, in Bullhorn, this tool will allow you to automatically send surveys to your contacts at the times when it is best to contact them, based on the information gathered via the Engagement Summary Pulse card. You then can view and manage all of your contacts’ responses from the new NPS Responses List.
To request the NPS survey tool for your company, contact Bullhorn Support. To learn more about the tool, view the NPS Survey tool documentation.
Opportunities on Company Record Overview Tab
Similar to what we can already display for jobs, you can now add an opportunities “component” to the company record Overview tab using the View Layout, so that you can easily see up to ten opportunities associated with a particular company.
Note: This is an Enterprise-only feature.
Lead Visibility on Company Record Contact Tab
You can now view all leads associated with a company on the Contacts tab of company records! Simply use the new toggle to see only contacts, only leads, or both.
Note: This is an Enterprise-only feature.
Pulse Card – Flagged Emails
A new Pulse card for Companies, Flagged Emails, is now available! Any emails from contacts that contain “trigger words” (those your company have deemed important, which your your administrator defines) will appear here so that you may take appropriate action. For example, if your administrator has chosen “proceed” as a trigger word, the card will display all inbound emails containing the word “proceed” from contacts at the selected company, and you’ll be able to quickly identify what action is required.
To request this card, contact Bullhorn Support. Available for Pulse and Enterprise Edition customers only. To learn more about this card, view the documentation for Bullhorn Pulse.
Enhanced Password Security
We’ve enhanced a very important feature of Bullhorn: password security. Now, when a user attempts to change their password (either when prompted by the system because it expired or by their own choosing), Bullhorn prevents them from using any recent passwords. By default, this will be their last five passwords, including their current password. To increase the number of recent passwords that cannot be reused in order to better comply with your company’s specific password policy, contact Bullhorn Support. To learn more about Bullhorn’s password security measures, view our Changing your Password documentation.
Pulse Configuration Page
In addition to the note action types that drive the Phone Conversation Activity card, administrators can now define the trigger words used for the Flagged Emails card. You access the Pulse Configuration page via the Tools menu. If you don’t see it, contact Bullhorn Support. Available for Pulse and Enterprise Edition customers only. To learn more about how you can configure Bullhorn Pulse, view the Pulse Configuration documentation.
Quickbooks Online Connection
We’ve stabilized the connection between Bullhorn Back Office and QuickBooks Online. Connection dropping for Back Office admin users should be less frequent, and more detailed logs will be provided if they do happen in the future. These logs will help provide information on the stability of the connection moving forward.
Timecard Approver’s Tab Performance
We’ve changed the Secondary Approver field on the Timecard Approver’s tab from a drop-down to a “type ahead” selection. With this update, response time improves as the application no longer has to load the entire list of secondary approvers when you select a value.
Onboarding is Now Built Into Bullhorn ATS/CRM!
Bullhorn users now have the ability to initiate and monitor the candidate onboarding process, both pre and post-hire, directly from the Bullhorn ATS/CRM! This includes sending existing documents and packets to candidates for completion, as well as viewing document status. With pre-hire functionality enabled, candidates can begin the onboarding process before a placement is made.
As part of this integration, we’ve added a new “Upcoming Job Starts” card, which allows Onboarding customers to track documents for placements starting soon. This card will appear on the new Placement dashboard. This new card and dashboard are Enterprise-only features.
Pre-Hire Support
Users are no longer limited to sending documents to candidates after they have been placed. With the addition of Pre-Hire document support, users can now send documents to candidates at any time. By sending and collecting documents from candidates early, firms can further reduce the time between placement and job start and the possibility of documents being returned late.
Candidate Updates
For customers using Bullhorn CRM, new candidates records (provided they meet the pre or post hire status or placement criteria) now push into Bullhorn Back Office and Bullhorn Onboarding immediately upon creation. Previously, newly created candidates moved to Bullhorn Back Office and Bullhorn Onboarding only after a user made an additional update on that candidate or associated placement record in the Bullhorn CRM.
Constant Contact – Remember Pushed Tearsheets
We’ve fixed the issue regarding our Constant Contact integration not remembering which tearsheets you had already pushed. Now, when you push a tearsheet to Constant Contact, if it has already been pushed to certain Constant Contact lists, Bullhorn indicates this with a check mark next to the list in the modal window.
Supplemental Timesheet Processing
We’ve fixed the issue with supplemental timesheets getting stuck in processing while sending to QuickBooks; they now send normally.
Footer Text Color
We’ve fixed the issue with the footer text in the application not matching what you select in the Control Panel. Previously, only the Change Password and Help buttons would match your selected color theme. It’s nice when all your colors match.
