Constant Contact Architectural Improvements
We’ve made some architectural improvements to our Constant Contact integration. As a result, administrators will need to re-authenticate to Constant Contact in order to push tearsheets.
View Onboarding Card on Submission Preview Slideout
If you use the Bullhorn ATS/Onboarding integration, you now have access to the Onboarding card on the Details tab of the preview slideout on your submissions list.
Auto Add Contacts to Companies with Matching Domains (Beta)
Bullhorn now gives you the ability to have contact records automatically created when you receive emails from unknown senders. When this feature is enabled, we detect the domain of the unknown sender and scan your database for contacts with a matching domain – if there’s a match, we’ll add that contact to the appropriate company record. If there’s no match, we look up the domain and add the company and contact for you — decreasing data entry and increasing productivity!
Please contact Product Management if you would like to participate in the beta program.
Note: This feature is for Enterprise Edition only.
Employment Type Exposed In Faster Find and Jobs Picker
Employment Type is now visible for jobs in the drop-downs for Faster Find and the Jobs picker, making it easier to identify the correct job when performing a search.
Private Files
Bullhorn now gives you the ability to mark files stored on candidate, contact, company, opportunity, job, and placement records as private, and share those files with specific users. On the Files tab for each of these record types, there is a new column labeled Visibility. This column, which can be sorted and filtered like the other columns on the tab, displays either Public or Private, denoting whether a file is visible to all users (assuming they can see the record) or not. For more information on private files, click here.
Activity Tab Performance Improvements
We’ve redesigned the Tasks section on the company record Activity tab for better performance – information now loads faster and you have the ability to page through your related tasks in groups of 10, 25, 50, or 100.
HTML Editor on Comments Field for Submissions
The Comments field on the Edit Submission page is now an HTML editor field, just as it appears on the Add Submission page, instead of just a simple text block.
“S Release” Removed from Browser Tab Title
We’ve updated the title of the browser tab that displays when logged into Bullhorn from “Bullhorn S Release” to the more all-encompassing “Bullhorn.”
status.bullhorn.com Has Been Updated!
Our status page has been updated with a new look and new functionality. You can now subscribe to updates via email, SMS, or RSS. Click here for more information on this page.
OT/DT Rules for Weekly Time Input
For weekly time input, doubletime rules now include overtime and normal hours to accrue towards an employee’s weekly amount.
Update to Onboarding Settings
We’ve updated the Onboarding integration settings page in the Control Panel to make navigation simpler and clearer. Now, shared email variables are highlighted towards the top of the page, with specific types of email variables grouped with their email type.
Employee Document History
We’ve improved the stability of the Employee Document History pop-up. Now, it maintains authenticated sessions and displays the document history for employees.
Vendor Document History
We’ve stabilized the Document History audit trail for Vendors. Previously, if a Vendor updated a date field, the data would not appear in the document history, but the change would still be processed. Now, all vendor date changes appear in document history.
Approvers by Branch Report Correction
We’ve updated the Approvers by Branch Report to reflect managers with currently active assignments (i.e., assignments starting in the past and ending in the future). Previously, extraneous managers were appearing on this report with inactive assignments.
Email – Default Message Signature Formatting
We’ve fixed the formatting issue regarding the default message signature and text format. Previously, the font text format options set in Preferences were not always respected in email messages (both when composing and on the recipient’s end). Now, font formatting set in preferences, for both email creation and on the receiving end, are consistent.
Favorite Search Saved with Cached Column Filter
In a previous release, we addressed an issue where applying a filter to a column, clearing that filter, applying a different filter, and then saving the search as a favorite would save the search with the initial filter applied. However, this fix only worked if the “Clear” button in the upper-right corner of the list view page was used to clear the initial filter, rather than using the smaller Clear button within the column header itself. In this release, we have addressed the latter, and favorite searches will no longer save with cached column filters, regardless of how those filters are cleared.
Mobile – Address Display on Contact Summary
We’ve fixed the issue regarding a contact’s full address not displaying on the summary card in the Bullhorn for Mobile app, even when it was included in the Mobile View Layout. Now, the full address appears when and where it should.
Selecting All Records After Large Search Returns Error
We’ve resolved the issue regarding either an “HTTP Error 414 – The request URL is too long” or “400 Bad Request” that appeared when users attempted to perform a mass record action after a large, complex keyword search. Now, the mass actions can be completed successfully.
Open/Done Button on Preview Slideout Not Displaying Correctly
We’ve fixed the issue regarding the open/done button on the Task List Preview Slideout not displaying correctly. Previously, even when a task was complete, the button would incorrectly say “Open” and display “Reopen” when hovered over. Now, open tasks show an “Open” button and display “Complete” when hovered over and completed tasks show a “Done” button and display “Reopen” when hovered over.
Due Date Picker on Task List Showing Wrong Time After Saving
We’ve fixed the issue with the Task Due Date field times not saving in your correct timezone. Now, when you save a time, the saved value reflects the timezone in which you are located.
Sporadic Email Notifications
We’ve fixed the issue regarding inconsistent task reminder emails. Previously, not all tasks were sending corresponding reminder emails to owners and assignees; now, all reminders are being sent when they should.
European Date Format Display Issue
We fixed an issue regarding Placements with a European date format (DD-MM-YYYY) not displaying correctly (though they were saved correctly in the database). Now, the dates also display correctly in the application.
Assignment Week Start Field Mapping Error
Previously, when an admin gave the Assignment Week Start field mapping a value that was not an integer between 0 and 6 (corresponding to Sunday through Saturday), the placement from the integrated ATS would import with an incorrect start day. Now, if an admin does this, after an ATS refresh, an error message displays in BBO letting them know that they’ve inputted an invalid value:
Could Not Update <Mapped Record>: Assignment timesheet week start must be an integer between 0 and 6, currently set to <incorrect value>
Employee App Date Issue
The date in the header of the employee application now matches the date of the timesheet selected. Previously, a bug was causing the date in the header to differ from the date of the selected timesheet.
Payable Hours Calculation
We’ve fixed an issue to correctly calculate payable hours regarding regular and overtime hours when users had multiple placements and the “Timesheet.Overtime Across Assignments” setting was set to Yes.
Employee PTO History Issue
We’ve made a change to the Employee PTO History report to help ensure the correct execution; previously, this report would fail to run if there were extra spaces at the end of the PTO Type name (e.g., “Vacation “). Now, BBO simply removes extra spaces at the end of PTO Type names and the report runs as it should.
