When this feature is enabled, we detect the domain of the unknown sender and scan your database for contacts with a matching domain – if there’s a match, we’ll add that contact to the appropriate company record. If there’s no match, we look up the domain and add the company and contact for you — decreasing data entry and increasing productivity!

Favorite Search Saved with Cached Column Filter

In a previous release, we addressed an issue where applying a filter to a column, clearing that filter, applying a different filter, and then saving the search as a favorite would save the search with the initial filter applied. However, this fix only worked if the “Clear” button in the upper-right corner of the list view page was used to clear the initial filter, rather than using the smaller Clear button within the column header itself. In this release, we have addressed the latter, and favorite searches will no longer save with cached column filters, regardless of how those filters are cleared.

Our new NPS survey tool is now in open beta! Extensive research has shown that your Net Promoter Score®, or NPS®, acts as a leading indicator of growth. For example, if your administrator has chosen “proceed” as a trigger word, the card will display all inbound emails containing the word “proceed” from contacts at the selected company, and you’ll be able to quickly identify what action is required.

Enhanced Password Security

We’ve enhanced a very important feature of Bullhorn: password security. Now, when a user attempts to change their password (either when prompted by the system because it expired or by their own choosing), Bullhorn prevents them from using any recent passwords. By default, this will be their last five passwords, including their current password. To increase the number of recent passwords that cannot be reused in order to better comply with your company’s specific password policy, contact Bullhorn Support. Onboarding is Now Built Into Bullhorn ATS/CRM!

Bullhorn users now have the ability to initiate and monitor the candidate onboarding process, both pre and post-hire, directly from the Bullhorn ATS/CRM! This includes sending existing documents and packets to candidates for completion, as well as viewing document status. With pre-hire functionality enabled, candidates can begin the onboarding process before a placement is made.

As part of this integration, we’ve added a new “Upcoming Job Starts” card, which allows Onboarding customers to track documents for placements starting soon. This card will appear on the new Placement dashboard. This new card and dashboard are Enterprise-only features.

We’ve added a new dashboard to Bullhorn! The Placement dashboard will be your place to view all the information you need to manage and monitor placements. With our new Placement Starts and Ends dashboard card, users can easily maintain visibility into placement starts and ends via a user-friendly calendar interface. This allows users to keep track of their upcoming starts, ensuring everything is in order beforehand, as well as any pending/upcoming ends, allowing them time to call hiring managers for contract extensions or to submit the candidate to other positions.

The Placement dashboard will be enabled automatically for all customers who already have the Job dashboard turned on. If you do not have the Job dashboard and are interested in this feature, please contact support.

Pulse Talk – Phone Conversation Activity

Similar to Email Conversation Activity, it’s now possible to track and visualize Phone Conversation Activity. Driven by the Pulse Configuration page, the Phone Conversation Activity card can be used to track call history with a person or company.  Users can also select a data point to view a log of calls made during that time period. This log will appear differently for companies versus contacts.

Note: This feature must be enabled simultaneously with the new Pulse Configuration Tool – please contact support to turn it on.

Burden Rate Calculations and Subsequent Conversions Can Vary During Setup

To increase consistency in burden rate calculations, a new setup setting has been created to clarify burden rate conversions, Assignment.Burden Rate Conversion. Previously, burden rates between 1.01 and 1.39 were automatically converted to a percentage.

With this setting, if set to Yes, burden rates from 1.01 to 1.39 will convert to a percentage. For example, 1.2 becomes 20%. If set to No, no conversion will happen and the burden rate will save as entered. This setting does not affect Permanent Placements, as they will always save with the entered burden rate. The setting is automatically set for existing customers according to current usage of burden rates.

With Bullhorn’s Faster Find, searching becomes even more efficient! To use Faster Find, simply type your criteria into the search field and results, with record details, display in the drop-down automatically. The more characters you type, the more refined your results will be. You can use Faster Find to search for leads (Enterprise edition only), contacts, companies, candidates, opportunities (Enterprise edition only), jobs, and placements. As an Administrator, you can even customize the columns that display on the Faster Find results page!

With Bullhorn’s Quick Note, you can create and edit notes attached to a record from directly within the preview slideout. Quick Note can reference entities related to a record using the “@” and “#” functions, and provides a space to quickly view and access multiple new or existing notes.

Mapping Tool Enhancements

Bullhorn has enhanced the mapping tool that enables users to select one or more contacts or leads from their respective list views and view their locations on a map. Previously, the map view would open in a small window that was not ideal from a viewing or navigation perspective. With the enhancement in the current release, the map takes over the entire view within Bullhorn, allowing for a much larger map to be displayed. When the user is done viewing the map, a red X in the upper-right-hand corner can be used to return the user to the list from which the map was initiated.
